Gisakura Tea Company (GTC) is located at the outskirts of Nyungwe Forest is located in Gisakura, Bushekeri Sector, Nyamasheke District, Western Province. Gisakura Tea Estate, the property of Gisakura tea Company (GTC), which is undeniably striking, is
magnificently beautiful with part of it perched on the western edge of Nyungwe forests and here tourists usually sight troops of Colobus monkeys feeding and playing in this patch of forest, which is rewarding. GTC is a subsidiary company of Rwanda Mountain Tea (RMT) Group.
Our Vision
We want to ensure that tea continues to be enjoyed today and for generations to come. We want to create a truly sustainable tea industry that is good for people, communities and the planet.
Our strategy
We believe that tea industry in Rwanda needs to increase the pace of change in addressing global environmental and social issues. GTC owes its success to the quality of teas and connection of the land and the communities in which we operate.
