Kitabi Tea Garden

Kitabi Tea Company (KTC), located in the Southern Province’s Nyamagabe District in Kitabi Sector. It sits at an altitude of about 2,600 meters above sea level. The Kitabi Tea Estate encompasses 1,608.52 hectares of tea plantations—818.52 hectares in the industrial block and 790 hectares managed by Out growers—alongside a 500-hectare eucalyptus forest and a tea factory. Nestled in an area blessed with rich volcanic soils, high altitude, and an ideal climate, Kitabi produces a distinct tea known for its exceptional flavor and quality. This unique environment connects directly to the superior tea produced, which has made KTC an important player in the tea industry. KTC's vision is to contribute to Rwanda’s development by creating a globally recognized, inclusive, and sustainable tea industry that generates wealth, creates employment, reduces poverty, and protects the environment.
