Rwanda Mountain Tea (RMT) Ltd owns Rutsiro Tea Factory, located in Rutsiro District, a factory that specializes in production of Organic Tea (CTC / Orthodox Black and Green).

As part of many Corporate Social Responsibility projects that RMT Ltd is involved in, sponsoring the Rutsiro Football Club is one of them. RMT Ltd has been sponsoring Rutsiro FC for the 3rd year now, a move that has benefited the team which is now in the Rwandan National League’s 1st division.

RMT Ltd management shared that they value sports and that’s why they chose to be part of this team that is also home to our Tea Factory.
Rutsiro FC Team President, Mr. Damascene, mentioned that they are happy with the sponsorship and proud to wear the company’s brand on their jerseys. “RMT Ltd has given back to its communities in so many ways and we are glad to be able to benefit from this.” He continued to share that due to this sponsorship, the team can pay the players, buy jerseys, equipment and assist in logistics.

The next season for the 1st Division league in Rwanda will commence on the 16th of September 2021.
