Gisakura Tea Factory is situated in the Western Province of Rwanda in Nyamasheke District, at 1,964 meters above sea level. The total expanse is 1,399hectares of which 432Ha belongs to the Industrial Block and the outgrowers’ COOPTHE and COOPTHE-VIGI cooperatives own 967hectares.

The Total annual green leaf production of Gisakura Tea Factory stands at 9.7Million Kgs from both Industrial block and Outgrowers’ plantations translating to 2.3Million Kgs of made tea.

The factory provides a safe professional working environment that has a focus on the well-being of the workers and regularly supports the neighbouring tea communities.

Gisakura Tea Factory holds Rainforest Alliance certification and produces only Black CTC teas.
