In the efforts to appreciate the good work by tea farmers (at RMT Plantations and Outgrowers), RMT organizes, annually, the farmers day.

The farmers’ day is held on the same day, consecutively across all RMT Tea Factories.

During the events, best performing tea farmers win prizes in various categories, including; Health Insurance Scheme, Cows, Goats, telephones, domestic appliances.

There is also feasting and lots of entertainment, where senior management of RMT, Factory Staff and Local leaders actively participate and deliver appreciation and congratulatory messages.
